I've personally learned from multiple Reiki Masters throughout my own journey.

This isn't about deciding one teacher or lineage is “right.”

It's about adding another perspective to the foundations you already have.

No. There are no Reiki attunements included within the Reiki Development pathway. 

Because this offering is designed for previously trained students, you'll already have received your attunements through your original Reiki teacher/lineage.

Everyone begins with Level 1. 

Even if you’re already a Reiki Master, I want you to experience the foundations through the Shala of Light lens before progressing further.

There will be teachings you recognise, but you'll also explore Reiki alongside nervous system education + my own approach to grounded energetic practice.

Think of it as revisiting the foundations with a new perspective, rather than starting your Reiki journey again.

No. This offering is for professional + personal development only and does not provide Reiki certification. 

Your existing Reiki certification remains your certification.

This course is offered to experience another teacher's perspective, deepen your knowledge + continue your education.

Absolutely. 

You don't need to be a professional Reiki practitioner. If you've completed Level 1 and received your attunement, you can begin with Shala of Light Level 1 Development.

If you eventually want to progress further but don't live in Australia you will need to complete the other levels 
with a Reiki Master so you can receive your attunements and certifications in your country and then if you choose you can do extra learning with me.  

Yes, but the pathway will depend on where you live. 

If you live in Australia: I recommend completing the full Shala of Light certification pathway with me instead. This includes your Reiki training, attunements, practical components and certification, rather than joining this upskill course.

If you live internationally: You’re welcome to join this course and learn the Shala of Light approach through a grounded, nervous system-informed lens. However, as this is primarily an upskill course, attunements and certification are not included.

You will also need to connect with and train under a qualified Reiki Master local to you, completing their training requirements to receive your attunements and certification. This also helps you establish a local pathway that considers the professional and insurance requirements where you live.

If you're completely new to Reiki, this particular pathway isn't designed to provide your initial Reiki certification or attunement. 

If you're able to, I recommend completing your initial Reiki training + attunement with a reputable Reiki Master in your local area first. This also gives you the opportunity to understand the professional requirements relevant to practising Reiki where you live.

Once you've completed your foundational training, you're very welcome to come back and experience Reiki training through the Shala of Light lens.

You'll certainly recognise some of the traditional Reiki foundations. Though, the value of this pathway isn't simply learning more Reiki techniques. It's exploring familiar concepts through another lens and adding education around the nervous system, stress, practitioner regulation and discernment.

Sometimes returning to the foundations with years of experience behind you allows you to understand them completely differently.

They probably will be in some areas, and that's okay. 

Different Reiki Masters, teachers + lineages can have different perspectives and ways of teaching. Which is a big reason I recommend learning from different teachers.

I'm not asking you to disregard what you've previously learned. I encourage you to remain curious, practise discernment + allow different perspectives to deepen your own understanding of Reiki.
